GEMA Externship Program

The Georgetown Entertainment & Media Alliance and the Career Education Center are again collaborating to offer the GEMA Externship Program, a unique opportunity for undergraduate seniors, MBA, Law and all other students enrolled in a graduate program at Georgetown. The externship provides you the opportunity to meet experienced professionals in entertainment and media, and get a firsthand look at day-to-day operations in the industry.

The externships take place during spring break (March 5-9, 2012) in Los Angeles, California and New York City and will last approximately five days.

All expenses associated with the externship, including travel and lodging, are the participant's responsibility.

Application Instructions:

To apply for the GEMA Externship, submit the following to the Career Education Center by November 11, 2011, 12:00 p.m. EST:

• Application form (PDF, 100 KB)
• Resume
• Cover letter demonstrating your interest in the entertainment or media industry (drawing on any academic, co-curricular, work or other experiences you may have) and your long-term career goals and how the GEMA externship experience might help you to achieve those goals.
• One letter of recommendation from a faculty member or employer.
