Missed Interviews

If you miss an interview:
To regain full access to Hoya Career Connection, you must:
  1. Send an e-mail apology to the employer and a copy to our Recruiting Coordinator.
  2. Schedule an appointment with the appropriate Recruiting Team member to request reinstatement and bring a copy of the apology letter.

Second-Round Interviews

You may not cancel a previously scheduled first-round interview to attend a second-round interview. If you miss a previously scheduled first-round interview to attend a second-round interview, it will be counted as a missed interview. Employers must offer at least one alternative interview date option, without negative consequences, for second-round interviews and must notify students at least 48 hours in advance of a second-round interview. Please contact our office if you need any assistance communicating with the company regarding your second-round interview scheduling.
