Mike Schaub is the Executive Director of the Career Eduction Center at Georgetown University. Mike started at the Career Center in August 2000 and became Executive Director in September 2006. He graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland with a degree in biology and from The University of Akron with a master's degree in psychology and a doctorate in counseling psychology. Mike has worked at five colleges and universities in a variety of administrative, teaching, advising, and counseling roles. Mike has published research in several psychology journals and is currently on the editorial board for the Journal of Career Development and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Counseling Psychology. He is a licensed psychologist and maintains a small private practice where he provides personal and career counseling.
Beverly Raimondo - Associate Director, Employer Relations

Beverly joined the Career Education Center in 2008 and works closely with employers to build relationships between the Career Education Center, employers, and students. She primarily advises students in the School of Nursing and Health Studies, and also advises students interested in pursuing careers in finance, accounting, and consulting. Prior to joining the Career Education Center, Beverly worked at The Conference Board, a global economic and management research organization, in New York City, and at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Beverly graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Massachusetts, and since moving to Washington, she has become a docent at the Library of Congress, and is a member of the Lincoln Group of Washington, D.C.
Beth Martin – Associate Director, Career Education & Counseling

Beth came to Georgetown in August 2009 with experience in undergraduate student affairs and international programs. She earned an M.A. in Counseling from Wake Forest University and a B.S. in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. Beth is also certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Matt Maples - Assistant Director, Educational Technology & Marketing

Matt has worked at the Career Education Center since August 2003. He earned his B.A. in history from William and Mary in 1998 and an M.Ed. in instructional technology from UVA in December 2000. Before coming to Georgetown, Matt worked as a content developer for an education company.
Tara Duprey - Assistant Director, External Relations

Tara began working at the Career Education Center in 2005, first as the Manager of Student Services and Resources and presently as the Assistant Director of External Relations. In her role she provides employment advising for students seeking careers in the non-profit and government sectors and in international development. Prior to working at Georgetown, Tara worked as a recruiter in Colorado and a scholarship manager for UNCF. Tara earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado and earned her Master's in Liberal Studies with a concentration in social and public policy from Georgetown.
Martha Llerena - Business Manager & Executive Assistant

Martha is originally from Quito, Ecuador. She joined the Career Education Center in August 2006 and has been with Georgetown for eighteen years, working in the accounting and finance offices of the Pediatrics Department, CIED, and the School of Foreign Service. In her role as Business Manager and Executive Assistant at the Center, Martha serves as department’s budget manager and personnel administrator and assists the Executive Director with a wide range of administrative functions and special projects. Martha earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Central University in Quito-Ecuador and a Certificate in Business Administration from Georgetown University in 2001. She is currently enrolled in Georgetown’s Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program with a concentration in Social and Public Policy.
Jillian Lucas - Career Counselor

Jillian returned to the Career Education Center in September 2010 after serving the center as a graduate counseling intern in 2008. Before pursuing counseling, Jillian spent several years working in non profit. She earned her B.A. in psychology and sociology from St. Lawrence University and an M.A. in counseling from Marymount University. Jillian is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors.
Allison Moesel - Career Counselor

Allison joined the Career Education Center staff in January 2012. Her previous experience in higher education led her to the field of counseling. She earned her M.S. in Counseling from the University of Rochester and her B.A. in Anthropology from SUNY Geneseo.
Allynn Powell - Recruiting Coordinator

Allynn joined the Career Education Center staff in July 2010. She comes to Georgetown from the midwest and brings with her a rich background in student affairs administration. Allynn earned a B.A. in Biology from Anderson University and her M.A. in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education from Ball State University. In her role as Recruiting Coordinator, Allynn oversees the Career Education Center's job and internship database, Hoya Career Connection, manages all aspects of the on-campus recruiting program, and provides internship and employment advising to students.
Kelly Sargent - Manager, Student Resources

Kelly joined the Career Education Center team in February 2010. In her role as Manager of Student Resources, Kelly oversees the daily operations of the the Center's first floor and manages the Career Resource Library. In addition to helping the Center run smoothly, Kelly also provides employment advising for students interested in a variety of fields, such as education, real estate, technology, and more. Kelly earned her B.A. in Ministry to Children and Families, a M.L.A. in Christian Ministry, and a M.Ed. in Higher Education from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. She is very excited to be a part of the Georgetown community!
Yirgealem Tesfu - Receptionist

Yirgealem has worked at Georgetown University for the past nine years. Prior to coming to the Career Center, Yirgealem worked for Georgetown University Conference Center - Marriott Operations, working with customers in a busy environment. She currently works as the receptionist and information specialist at the Career Center, overseeing front desk workers and handling constant inquiries about the Center from students and employers. In June 2003, Yirgealem earned a Professional Manager Certificate in the field of leadership development from Georgetown University.
Victoria Turco - Pre-Law Advisor

Victoria joined the Career Education Center in July 2008. Prior to coming to Georgetown, Victoria worked for Nationwide Career Counseling for Attorneys as a Legal Career Advisor for practicing attorneys throughout the United States. Before that, she held the position of Associate University Counsel for Temple University in Philadelphia. She has also practiced as an insurance and medical malpractice defense litigator. Victoria earned her B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
