Mike Schaub - Executive Director

Mike started at the Career Center in August 2000 as Associate Director and was hired as Executive Director in September 2006. He graduated from John Carroll University with a degree in biology and from The University of Akron with an M.A. in psychology and a Ph.D. in counseling psychology. Mike is a licensed psychologist in Virginia and Maryland and is recognized by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. After serving with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Worcester, Mike worked at several universities in a variety of teaching and student affairs roles. He enjoys counseling, administration, research, and teaching in the university setting.
Liz Livingston - Associate Director, Career Education and Counseling

Liz joined the Career Education Center staff in October 2003. She first came to the Career Education Center in 2001, when she was a graduate intern. She earned her master’s degree in counseling and a post-master’s certificate in career counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Liz is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Liz has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Dickinson College.
Beverly Raimondo - Associate Director, Employer Relations

Beverly joined the Career Education Center in 2008 and works closely with employers to build relationships between the Career Education Center, employers, and students. She primarily advises students in the School of Nursing and Health Studies, and also advises students interested in pursuing careers in finance, accounting, and consulting. Prior to joining the Career Education Center, Beverly worked at The Conference Board, a global economic and management research organization, in New York City, and at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Beverly graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Massachusetts, and since moving to Washington, she has become a docent at the Library of Congress, and is a member of the Lincoln Group of Washington, D.C.
Matt Maples - Assistant Director, Educational Technology & Marketing

Matt has worked at the Career Education Center since August 2003. He earned his B.A. in history from William and Mary in 1998 and an M.Ed. in instructional technology from UVA in December 2000. Before coming to Georgetown, Matt worked as a content developer for an education company.
Tara Duprey - Manager of Student Services & Resources
Tara is thrilled to be a part of the Career Education team. Her responsibilities as Manager of Student Services and Resources include providing employment advising for students seeking careers in education and managing first floor/library operations for the center. Tara earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to joining the team here, Tara worked as a scholarship manager for UNCF, The College Fund and most recently spent five years as a recruiter in Colorado.
Christine Cruzvergara, Manager of Special Programs

Christine joined the Career Education Center in September 2008 and is excited to be a part of Hoya community! In her role as Manager of Special Programs, Christine oversees the career fairs and internship/externship programs, in addition to providing employment advising for students seeking careers in the fields of Marketing, PR, Advertising, and other creative fields. Christine earned her B.S. in psychology and family studies from James Madison University and her M.A. in college student personnel from the University of Maryland.
Jennifer Creamer - Manager, Recruiting Program

Jennie joined the Career Education Center in April 2009. She works with both students and employers in her role as Recruiting Coordinator. Before coming to Georgetown, Jennie worked as a Campus Recruiter for Credit Suisse in New York. Jennie graduated with Honors from Fairfield University with a degree in International Business.
Yirgealem Tesfu - Receptionist

Yirgealem has worked at Georgetown University for the past nine years. Prior to coming to the Career Center, Yirgealem worked for Georgetown University Conference Center - Marriott Operations, working with customers in a busy environment. She currently works as the receptionist and information specialist at the Career Center, overseeing front desk workers and handling constant inquiries about the Center from students and employers. In June 2003, Yirgealem earned a Professional Manager Certificate in the field of leadership development from Georgetown University.

Anna joined the Career Education Center staff in August 2007. Before coming to Georgetown, Anna spent several years working with students in public schools in California and North Carolina. She holds an M.A. in Counseling from Wake Forest University and a B.A. in Government from the University of Maryland. Anna is also certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Jessica Rodriguez-Feo - Career Counselor

Jessica joined the Career Education Center staff in Spring 2008. Before coming to Georgetown, Jessica worked at the George Washington University’s School of Business as an Academic Advisor for eight years. Jessica holds an M.A. in Counseling from the George Washington University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland. Jessica is also certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Victoria Turco - Pre-Law Advisor

Victoria joined the Career Education Center in July 2008. Prior to coming to Georgetown, Victoria worked for Nationwide Career Counseling for Attorneys as a Legal Career Advisor for practicing attorneys throughout the United States. Before that, she held the position of Associate University Counsel for Temple University in Philadelphia. She has also practiced as an insurance and medical malpractice defense litigator. Victoria earned her B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
